Profile Photo

Welcome to my homepage! I am an incoming Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Singapore Management University (SMU), where I will be advised by Prof. Hady W. Lauw. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science (Honor Program) at the University of Information Technology (UIT), VNU-HCM, where I was advised by Dr. Thanh Duc Ngo. Parallel to my undergraduate studies, I served as a Research Assistant at AI VIET NAM, where I was advised by Dr. Quang-Vinh Dinh.

Research

My research primarily lies at the intersection of Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Multi-modal Representation Learning, and Recommender Systems. I focus on developing highly discriminative retrieval systems and advancing fine-grained cross-modal alignment to optimize representation spaces.

In the long term, I aim to bridge the gap between rigorous academic research and scalable, user-centric AI applications, bringing world-class multimodal technologies to real-world products.

Miscellaneous

When I step away from the keyboard, I consider myself a huge food enthusiast with a passion for exploring diverse cuisines. Having grown up in the beautiful coastal city of Quy Nhon, I also love unwinding by taking breezy motorbike rides along the beach. I am eagerly looking forward to discovering Singapore's famous food culture and coastal spots very soon!
